The best way I have found to get rid of puffy, dry, and irritated skin (thanks, holidays) is to give my skin a total detox. After researching and testing out products, I created a Beauty Detox Guide to target skin concerns from head to toe. Below you can read up on my latest finds and see which products, if not all of them, are calling your name.
Holiday celebrations and parties are here! To me, that means it’s time to go brighter and bolder with your makeup. In this makeup tutorial, I was inspired by the glimmery colors of the holiday season, pairing a golden eyeshadow with an eye-catching lippy. Below, I show you the steps to achieve this easy festive makeup look.
Over the summer, I had a terrible hair experience that left my curls super crunchy, dry, and brittle. It was a combination of a setting spray and a foam mousse that damaged my hair and caused tons of breakage. Seeing my hair break off right before my eyes was scary, so right then and there I set out to get my hair healthy and hydrated.
In order for those crunchy curls to be gone and for my hair to have total hydration, I needed to change up from the products I was using. Enter Ouidad’s Curl Immersion line. These products are hair miracles that brought my dry and crunchy curls back to life! Read more about these amazing products below.
When I was a teenager in the 90’s, I was really into the whole thin eyebrow look. I would overpluck or shave them off and draw them in with pronounced curved arches. Back then, that was totally in style! Now, not so much. Today’s brows are bold and full with minimal tweezing going on.
After letting my brows grow back in, I have areas that are patchy and will just not grow. Note to self: I will never shave my brows again! To fill in those areas, I have tried pencils, but they’re usually too thick, powders look unnatural to me, and gels don’t fill them in at all.
Enter Chella’s Eyebrow Cream. This product was exactly what I was looking for! The eyebrow cream’s pomade like texture combined with their super-thin angled brush took my brows to natural fullness. Stay tuned for a video posting on my Instagram stories to see my happy eyebrows! And if you’re looking to recover your brows, check out my Step by Step Guide to Perfect Brows below!
When I began to take an interest in caring for my skin, Kiehl’s was my go-to brand and helped repair my skin from acne and hyperpigmentation scars. The Calendula Toner, Ultra Facial SPF 30 Moisturizer, and now discontinued Gentle Foaming Cleanser were and still are staples in my skincare routine.
Well, Kiehl’s just got personal with their latest product launch, Apothecary Preparations. This personalized regimen custom blends a unique treatment to use at home. In October, I was invited for a private appointment to experience this new skincare innovation at their store in Santa Monica, CA. Read on to learn more!
